Composite veneers are a reversible, affordable way to transform your smile in a single appointment. No waiting, no lab time — sculpted directly onto your teeth using premium toothcoloured resin.
Composite veneers are ultra-thin layers of tooth-coloured resin applied and hand-
sculpted directly onto the surface of your teeth. Unlike porcelain veneers — which are fabricated in a laboratory over 1–2 weeks — composite veneers are completed entirely chairside in a single appointment by Dr Kozor.
They are an excellent option for patients who want to address minor chips, discolouration, small gaps, or uneven shapes without committing to porcelain. Because no tooth structure is removed in most cases, composite veneers are fully reversible — they can be removed or upgraded to porcelain at any time.
- Chips & fractures — Restoring broken tooth edges to their original shape
- Discolouration — Covering staining that whitening cannot address effectively
- Minor gaps — Closing small spaces between teeth without orthodontics
- Uneven length — Lengthening short teeth to create a balanced, even smile line
- Shape correction — Widening or reshaping pointed or misshapen teeth
Composite veneers are more affordable and completed in one visit, but typically
last 5+ years with maintenance. Porcelain veneers typically last 10+ years and provide a more aesthetic finish for major transformations. We discuss both options at your consultation.

Dr Kozor assesses your smile, discusses your goals, and confirms composite veneers are the right treatment. Shade selection is made to match or improve your natural tooth colour.

Dr Kozor applies layers of composite resin and sculpts each tooth by hand to the correct shape, length, and contour — refining until the result is exactly right.
The veneers are polished to a high sheen and you see your new smile immediately. Before-and-after photos are taken chairside.

Walk in with a concern, walk out with a new smile. No temporaries, no waiting for a lab result — the entire treatment is completed in a single appointment by Dr Kozor chairside.
Because no tooth structure is permanently altered in most cases, composite veneers are completely reversible. They can be removed or upgraded to
porcelain at any future point without consequence.
At $350–600 per tooth, composite veneers deliver a genuinely beautiful result at a fraction of the cost of porcelain. Health fund rebates may apply to components of the treatment.

Questions are part of the process. Here are the ones we hear most often about
composite veneers. Call us if yours isn’t here.
How long do composite veneers last?
Composite veneers typically last between 4–7 years with proper care and maintenance. They may require touch-ups over time as resin can chip or stain more than porcelain. Avoiding excessive biting forces (ice, very hard foods) and maintaining regular checkups will extend their lifespan. Many patients opt to maintain or upgrade to porcelain after their initial composite result.
Do composite veneers damage your teeth?
In most cases, no. Composite veneers are an additive procedure — resin is bonded onto the surface of the tooth without removing any enamel. This makes them reversible and non-destructive. A very light etch of the enamel surface is applied to help the bond, but this is minimal and does not weaken the tooth.
Can composite veneers fix crooked teeth?
Composite veneers can improve the appearance of mildly uneven or slightly misaligned teeth by adjusting their apparent shape and size — without moving the teeth themselves. For more significant misalignment, we would typically recommend Invisalign first, then composite or porcelain veneers if needed for the final cosmetic refinement.
How much do composite veneers cost in Sydney?
At Horizon Dental, composite veneers are priced from $350 per tooth. The total cost depends on how many teeth are treated and the complexity of each tooth. We provide a full written cost estimate at your consultation before any treatment begins, with no unexpected charges.
